Just out of my insane curiosity whatever happened to WebRPG, the client? I miss the fun interactivity of it.
Any chance of it coming back, does it have a community?
The short answer is that when it went to a pay-to-play model, the users left in droves. I believe it went back to being free, but by then there was no longer much interest. There is still OpenRPG, and a few new competitors. Gamegrene did an article about it a few years ago. http://www.gamegrene.com/node/106
